David has been successfully running his own style of Art classes for the past few years. The theme of ‘Enjoyment’ helps with the appeal of the classes, and builds the confidence of the individuals attending the classes or through the Private Tuition.

The groups are limited to small numbers. This way the important one to one tuition is guaranteed with each individual on a weekly basis, rather than occasionally as can be the case with much larger groups. Smaller groups also help create a friendly atmosphere, where everyone interacts with each other, helping build up the confidence levels.

David uses his experience and some of the exercises he completed in college to help with the development of individual styles through a basic structure. Different skills are taught that help the individual to grasp the medium before attempting to produce a finished picture. The individual is encouraged to develop his or her own style using a basic structure as a guideline. David feels that it is so important for the medium being used to be experimented with first, in the form of simple exercises to develop a better understanding of that medium before applying it into a finished painting.

The groups are run at local venues throughout the area. So for anyone interested in joining one of David’s groups, a local venue will be available.
The alternative private tuition is available upon request. Worksheets are handed out with each relevant lesson to help refresh the day’s lesson later on at home.

Over the coming months full day workshops are being developed as another alternative, again at local venues throughout the area. These will be a little more specific with finished paintings being completed by the end of the day.
