Artist, Illustrator and Tutor David Walker has recently re-located close to his roots in Lower Dryton, Shropshire. Within the pages of this site you will find a selection of the work produced by David and the services available.

David was born in the North West of England. After leaving school he attended Wrexham College of Art and Design. There he spent four years on a Visual Communication course, specialising in Illustration.

David left College with a BTEC Higher National Diploma.

After college David attended a business course at Greenfield Valley Young Enterprise Centre. While there he gained the support of the Prince’s Youth Business Trust. Attending several of their annual Exhibitions David had the pleasure of meeting the Prince of Wales on three separate occasions. One of them being a memorable visit to Highgrove.

David started his own Business in 1986. David enjoys working in a selection of mediums that include Oil, Watercolour, Pencil and Pen and Ink. He also enjoys the subject matter and has an eye for detail. His enthusiasm is apparent for all jobs, whether it is an individual client or large international company.

His enthusiasm is now transferred to his Art Classes and Workshops. This enthusiasm helps to teach the enjoyment of drawing and painting to all of his pupils.

David has always enjoyed working in a selection of mediums that include Oils, Watercolour, Gouache, Pencil and Pen and Ink. The subject matter has also remained varied, with as much enthusiasm going in to a small individual Pet Portrait through to a series of paintings for a large Company. Because of the variety of the work, the enthusiasm still remains the same for all subjects.
David’s market area now appeals to a worldwide audience. As Business develops so to do the services offered, for now David runs his own Art Classes and Workshops through local Hotels and venues. Please contact David direct for further details on this matter.
